About GoVietVisa — Who We Are & How We Work

In short

GoVietVisa is a private eVisa assistance service, founded by Yen Kim and operating from Ho Chi Minh City since 2024. We are not a government website and not affiliated with Vietnam Immigration. We charge a service fee on top of the official government fee, and we say so on every page. If you want to apply yourself for the government fee alone, the official portal is at evisa.gov.vn and we will tell you when that is the better option for you.

What We Actually Do

Someone reads your application before it is submitted. That is the whole product, and everything else follows from it.

In practice that means checking your passport scan is legible where it matters, that the name on the form matches the name in the passport rather than the name you go by, that your entry date lines up with your actual flight, and that the processing speed you picked can realistically reach your departure. Then we file it on the official portal, watch it, and deal with the portal's failures ourselves rather than sending you back to it.

We also take on cases other people have already broken — applications stuck on "Processing" for weeks, applications where the payment went through but nothing arrived, applications refused for a reason nobody explained. Those are often the more interesting ones, and they are a large part of why this service exists.

What We Don't Do

We are not the government. We cannot approve a visa, overrule a refusal, or make immigration move faster than immigration moves.
We don't promise outcomes we can't control. Nobody in this industry can guarantee approval. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
We don't quote a price before we know your case. Roughly eighty nationalities are handled under different rules, and the standard table simply does not apply to them.
We don't take payment before reviewing. The government fee is gone the moment an application is filed, so problems are worth finding beforehand.
We don't sell your data. Uploaded passport scans are stored where they cannot be reached from the web, and they are not shared with third parties.

Why You Can Take Our Word on the Details

Anyone can write that they are experienced. What is harder to fake is knowing the specific things that only turn up when you handle applications every day:

Cut-off times are real and they are not round numbers. A Rush order placed after 9:45 AM Vietnam time is not the same order as one placed at 9:30. Our processing table lists the actual cut-off for every speed, because that is the number that decides whether you make your flight.
The clock starts at complete documents, not at payment. A glare across the machine-readable strip of a passport scan can quietly cost half a working day on a rush order. This is the single most common reason an urgent case lands later than the customer expected.
Weekends run on a different channel. A Monday flight is almost always cheaper to solve with a Friday morning submission than with weekend rates.
Nationality changes everything. We maintain a working list of which passports are processed normally, which need individual confirmation, and which we cannot help with online at all — and we check yours before quoting, not after.

None of that is marketing copy. It is the same information we use internally when a message comes in at nine at night from someone flying the next morning.

Who Runs This

GoVietVisa was started in 2024 by Yen Kim and is run from Ho Chi Minh City. It is deliberately small: the person answering your WhatsApp message is the person handling your application, which is why replies tend to arrive quickly and why nobody will read you a script.

Support runs 08:00–22:00 GMT+7, seven days a week. Vietnam is GMT+7, so if you are in New York that is roughly 9 PM to 11 AM your time, and in London roughly 2 AM to 4 PM. Urgent cases outside those hours still get looked at — message anyway if you are flying soon.

Being Straight About the Money

Every price on this site is the total you pay, per person, and already includes the official government fee of $25 for single entry or $50 for multiple entry. The rest is our service fee. The full price list breaks down exactly which part goes where.

You can apply yourself at the official portal for the government fee alone. For a simple case with plenty of time before departure, that is a perfectly sensible choice, and we would rather say so than take money from someone who does not need us. Where we earn our fee is on the cases that are urgent, complicated, already broken, or where a non-refundable government fee is at risk from a small mistake.
